Program Notes: Husk 2 is a study of sound dissection and mutation, building on the trajectory of the original work in the series. The piece begins with the sound of a bell which is continually transformed throughout the duration of the work. Samples from various percussion instruments, animals, and environmental field recordings are morphed into another using a variety of processing techniques.
